Thermal imaging cameras show differences in surface temperature. Cold spots on a wall or ceiling can point to missing insulation, air leaks or moisture. Warm spots can show heat escaping.
Scans work best when there’s a big difference between inside and outside temperatures, usually on a cold morning or evening. You get images and notes showing where the problems are.
